New York City
I met Sarah when i briefly attended Slippery Rock. I would like to say i joined the swim team so i could help out the team and swim at a competitive level... but in all honesty, i joined so i didn't gain my freshman fifteen. not quite so glamorous. luckily for me i met some awesome ladies there. i'm sure you all know from watching the olympics a few years back... the fastest swimmers are in lanes three an four... my placement in lane 6 obviously explains how good i was. sarah was there too, she had some sort of injury, so in no time we became good friends. anyways- we lost touch for a while but thanks to the internet we reconnected and now we are better friends than we've ever been.
amazingly my trip lacked in typical new york events. there was no going to the world trade center memorial or seeing the lights in time square. my trip was more about 90 degree days and good times with good friends.
Night 1 of getting into the city sarah and i got ready to have a night on the town. as we were walking to the subway we simultaneously realized that neither of us wanted to go out. so instead we ordered chinese food and had some good conversations on her bal-cony (it's italian.)
Sarah works for 230 fifth. It's a night club/restaurant that apparently makes bank. here's a picture of us at brunch on sunday afternoon.
i only have two pictuers to share with you from my trip, and i didn't even take one of them, but i had a great time anyways.... next up, Austin.
